When Indigenous student Cheyanne Redcorn goes missing, her best friend Kaya struggles to get anyone to care; media, police, even friends dismiss her. But when another girl, Nicole Jones, disappears, the town erupts in action.

Nicole is soon found dead, and her killer is caught. Cheyanne’s case remains ignored. At Nicole’s memorial, Kaya demands justice by spotlighting Cheyanne’s forgotten story with a bold act of protest: replacing Nicole’s photo with Cheyanne’s missing poster, marked with a red handprint and a defiant message, "REMEMBER ME".
